I still dunno who plays what!?!

Great... My player has my username shown underneath their skates while we're having a faceoff... My player is also facing up, just like me, and the rest of my team.... ✅️...

For me, off the faceoff it would be more informative to know which player is at the faceoff. I know that the fwds are posted in the bottom corners of the screen, but I often miss those for one reason or another.  The numbers on their back aren't usually all that helpful because I'm dealing with players I'm not all that familiar with, not to mention I could have three or more of the same number on my team.

But once that guys start moving around,  and I can't pay attention to the number on their back because they turn around or get hidden by other players, so I'm just supposed to know which position they're supposed to be playing...?!?

Can we please get some positional indicators on the people out there?!? PLEASE!!!

I see where you're going with this (at least I think I know lol). Example a small "LW" or "RD" would be very helpful when utilizing players.

What mode are you playing? WoC has different color indicators for each position.

      I'm playing HUT.

Since there's no HUT Rush, it's all 6 vs. 6.

Coloured indicators would be a big help,  especially if they paired that with a consistent vision passing icon (a 5th button would have to be added for this to work).

In one of the other threads about the vision passing not showing colours or being consistent,  I've meant to respond by saying I'm playing PS5 now.

I noticed that neither of my controllers have the colours the older ones for Playstation had.

Maybe this had something to do with the reasoning for leaving the vision passing icons grey on the PS5 version, because I see vids of ppl playing Xbox and they still have their vision passing icons coloured and so do my Xbox One/Series X controller's buttons.

Pair that with not having any idea how the icons are decided to represent each player when they cycle,  and I find that by the time I can figure out what button to press,  I've already been blocked or had the puck stolen.  The vision passing is, in a lot of ways, a detriment now.

Hello. The lack of colors is intended so that it matches the current PS5 controller design. Which, does not have colored buttons.
