Is icon passing broke since the new patch???
When you hold RT the icons don’t appear over the other skaters head and you can’t make icon passing.
I didn’t read that they were going to take that away in the patch notes

Just adding my experience, WOC club games. We ensured our icon passing setting was ON prior to entering the dressing room. Early in the game the icon passing was working but by the end of the first period it had stopped working for everyone. We don't dare try to turn it back on given the faceoff loop glitch.
Nope, it’s not working in WOC. I played 1 game where it worked, but even then the icons were different than they used to be in 3v3. I strictly play defense, which means I’m always X, but I needed to press X to pass it to the winger. Then they switched back later in the game. This game is even more broken.

If 5 icon passes are completed at any point during the game, Players from both sides of the team are immideatley kicked from the game/lobby and brought back to the main menu resulting in a no contest (no winner/loser and no loss/gain of RP) if at any point during the game someone commits an icon pass to their teammate, the game immediately goes back to the last faceoff draw that took place before the completed pass, and the time of play in the period is also turned back.

Icon passing works in any other mode... just in WOC that its not showing... in 3s and 6s ... if that ever makes a difference :)
I can can confirm MrHotPockets96 account as well. We played last night, EASHL 6s, all PS5 on my team. A couple of our players use icon passing and didn't have the icons. Found a way in the menu to turn them on. Once they tried, game reset to the previous faceoff. After this happened a few times, match would crash, players brought to main NHL25 menu, no record of a W/L/DNF.
I have turned OFF Icon Passing, turned off console reopened, turned Icon passong back on and its all good !
