      I'll say it again, this is not acceptable.  If there is no ETA, then roll it back so we can play the product we purchased.

        Right?!? The process for updating a server is…

        Back up server

        Install update

        Restart server to apply update

        Test update

        If you find errors. Roll back the update and fix the update before reapplying.
