That's like if I bought a $94.59 bowl to use offline in my own time. Someone came into my home smashed the bowl and gave me a plate, and then told me "sorry, it's not that easy to fix, please continue to have soup on this plate, there's no timeline to fix it"

That's not remotely the same.
Well in this metaphor the bowl is the useable product, and the plate is the broken unusable product that I currently own.
