Match making - broken - EASHL 3v3 drop-in

 

Spent about 2hours searching for matches and only got to play 1.5 games since 2 guys quit after being scored on twice.

Searching for well over a minute for teammates... then about 3mins for opponents and then boots back to menu saying invalid session.

If I did get a match up it would be 3v2 and guys would quit on the other team really quickly after being scored on.

Also would boot out of sessions saying it didn't meet the player requirements(see photo)

If matchmaking is this terrible I would like a refund for the purchase of NHL 25 since the game clearly doesn't work as intended

    It was better by the weekend but it's not so much better in 6s.

    Normally, it switch to search opponent after 12 secondes if there's 5 skaters, skipping the goalie's search, which is perfect but....If the search hit 3 or so minutes, it restart from zero and even though the group is still 5 skaters, it keep searching for a goalie during 1 minute 10 secondes. Thats super annoying and a waste of time particularly when the search stop at 3 minutes. So you spend about half the time looking for a goalie everytime the timer reset. What happened to the switch to search for opponent after 12 secondes when there's already 5 skaters even when the search start from zero???

    As mentioned above, why is the search for opponent stop at 3 minute instead of the 5 minutes from last year??

    It feel just like last year too,  you get teammates sometimes in mere secondes but it look for opponent for 2 minutes+, how??

    Several games with a goalie on one side while none on the other team, matchmaking is clearly not matching goalies. Back in pre nhl 24 with half the team quiting if they have a G and the other team doesnt...

    skaters list screen still gliching (disapear/reapear in flashy sequence), particularly when new players join the room.

      Yes this is a great and detailed comment! Still not working properly .. I played about 6 games last night all except 1 was a 3v2... search time still ridiculously long and stops searching

      Invalid game session kept happening when I did actually get 3 people on my team ... then we would match against 2 people that are using turbo controllers to make the CPU skate around like a bumble bee and wind up for one timers all over the ice even when not in the offensive zone

        To be fair, I played yesterday, and the matchmaking was pretty fast, faster than in nhl24, I was surprised...So I guess they solved that issue.

        But everything else mentioned is still in the game....And YES, invalid game/room crash when there's a match up to an opposing team happens a lot too.

    Also had full team of 4 people and it would search for 3mins and then stop searching for opponents and just make us search again
