MIC NOT WORKING

Also cannot hear game chat whatsoever 

Hello. Have you checked the EA Connect settings? I forget the control to access this on PS, but you can see the button for that at the bottom of the screen.

Yes i have, voice channel is on and it still is not working ive checked everything. It hasnt worked in nhl26 at all whatsoever so i dont know what it could be.

this is the icon that shows. I’m guessing that is a mute icon but i am not muted anywhere on anything. 

What headset are you using?

headset isnt an issue as it doesn’t work without a headset either. cant use my playstation controller but my headset is a steel series 3p

I assume the mic you're using is part of the headset you mentioned? Do you have a different headset you can try?

its a brand new headset as i got a new one because my old one wouldnt work, my controller also doesnt work and if i just dont have a headset put on i still cant hear them talk. i see the icons pop up of them speaking but cant hear or talk back

If your controller isn't working, the headset is probably being seen as a controller. Turn off your headset and wait until you're loading into a match before turning it back on.

No my controller mic isnt working not the actual controller even if i dont have a mic hooked up i can usually communicate in other games in game chat with my controller as its a ps5.
