I’m having such an issue with ping right now and matchmaking. (Takes a lot longer to find a game this past week) Feel like I’m losing my mind.Played all year on 22-28 ms(with my ping limit set at 30ms) and now I can’t find a game less than 40ms(with the same setting for searching) changed nothing , wired fiber internet (google fiber , Omaha NE) My speed test on my computer is 1ms 925 down and 930up - my Xbox is hard wired, I reset my console, re downloaded the game, reset my internet, and even changed cables. I reached out on Reddit and found another Midwest player with the same issues. i was wondering if something happened this past week to the satellite servers in (Denver, Minneapolis,Chicago) thanks,,Just annoyed can’t play the game competitively on 40+ ms… anyone else having issues in the Midwest?

It happened overnight because there was a massive backlash against changes and thay lead to even more people bouncing off the game rapidly. That, on top of anything else that may be going on with personal connections could lead to this. You can also check your settings in game, maybe something changed in the options that let you select maximum ms you'll accept.

Hi there. You said you reset your console and internet. What steps did you take to do that? Unplugging your console and modem/router for 2 minutes, then plugging it all in again is needed rather than just quickly restarting them. Also, who is your ISP?

Yep. Full reset of both internet and Xbox multiple times with how you described it. ISP is google fiber. I have no issues in any other game. It seemingly changed overnight where I can’t find a game now less than 40ms. Where up until about a week ago I could easily find one 22-28 ms or so.

Where in the midwest are you? It's possible the extreme weather in the southern mid-west could be affecting ISPs. I imagine a lot of people are staying home and getting online. You could also try the troubleshooting steps here.

I’m in east Nebraska. Haven’t had a single issue until last week. Now I can hardly find a game even at like 1600-1900 CST , which should be prime time to find a game. I’m even searching 50ping max 250 skill rating division 2. It’s terribly frustrating to not be able to even find a game…

Thanks Alijo, I have google fiber brand new line in the early fall. Just recently has it gotten worse. Weird that it happened overnight basically the Having trouble finding games and ping issues. Let me know if you find anything out..
