I actually don't mind the skaters being bad. In WoC you should be trying to do everything you can to play 6v6 or 4v4 (3s) or 3v3 (threes) depending on what mode. If people want 2v2 online versus or drops is a better option. It's far too many people who play w/ 2 in 6's and want their CPU to bail them out and will cherrypick all game. I'm not suggesting that's what you do because I don't know but I know that makes the game very unenjoyable for everyone else on the ice. I really think there just needs to be more tools and reward for finding a full club to run with. CPU players can be the absolute worst or absolute best players on the ice depending on the situation but in both cases and whether they're on your team or not, they make the experience much less enjoyable. I think by making them bad it makes humans prefer to play with other humans. Those that still prefer to play with them are the same that led HUT to keep people from "skill zoning" CPU players as dumb as they are, are still typically better than a lot of D10-D6 players. Perhaps the cpu could scale to the team you're playing I guess. I would always just play a diff mode depending on how many we had or jump in a drop lobby or quick 3s if I was alone. Anything is better than playing against/ having cpu players.
