lol what a joke. Looked exactly the same. Don’t have people who don’t know to play do a video like this. Didn’t see any of the so called new additions

Flex celebration still in... a lot of people like myself, are out. Total cringe, just plain stupid and silly. There are a lot of adults wanting to play a hockey video game, not kid stuff.

This is the worst advertisement for a new game I have ever seen. The brothers clearly did not want to be there, no new mechanics shown off, it cuts away when one of the brothers starts commenting about something negative with the game, nothing looks different at all. I don't get what is going on EA right now. The absolute worst year since 15, period.

I am little chocked it looked scary similar to NHL 24 and i do not understand this they said about presentation where was it?
Infinite Camera System
The all-new Infinite Camera System completely revamps replays with increased variety and authenticity of angles. Those include broadcast-inspired wire, drone, and other static cameras positioned throughout the rink to capture even more of the action.
I sure hope the new broadcast elements aren't only for this 'grudge match' thing.

that Jonas Siegenthaler backhander from the top of the circle goal had me crying laughing, this game is a certified stinker
- RatedxPGxEnigmaNew Scout
It's like they saw how effective forehand/backhand goals already were and asked themselves how can we make this more unbalanced

The tunnel vision goal celebrations are terrible. Why are they still in the game? Might as well have someone doing the “Fortnite dance” after they score a goal…… likely a future patch I’m sure….

They already have fortine dances in WOC. I wish I was joking but they have literally copied and pasted some fortnite dances.

For those that were asking about the speed boost checking. Yes its still in the game (@3mins).
Thats unbelievable considering the reaction from the community.
EA_Aljo can we get feedback from the devs why this is still in the game even though the community asked for it to removed. We were told last year that after it was removed that so many people complained that it was added again. I've seen far more posts asking for it to be removed. Actually I seen next to no posts on Reddit, Twitter or the EA forum asking for it to be added again.

We don't have any details on hitting in 25. We'll have to wait for more details to be released or wait for feedback from the community when early release happens Friday.
When the change was made, it ended up causing new issues so we had to revert it back for the duration of 24. I'll report back if I can share anything about hitting in 25.

It's safe to assume the community manager has played the game by now, right? Considering people like Nasher and Eki and Sleeveless have already? I don't understand why you aren't able to relay YOUR experience with hitting.
It does seem somewhat limited in its 'boost'.. but the video effects added by EA to this video make it difficult to determine that conclusively.

Its not unbelievable at all if you have been in this community for ~ 2 years. They do this all the time
- RSall14Seasoned Vanguard
Says a lot that this is the best footage they could cut up for an extended showcase. Everyone already buried the video so I'll just comment on how bad it looks to release this in 1080p 30fps.

I am so sad the flex moments are still in the game but this year they also seems to have ad some sort of BOOM and shake to the camera the moment when the puck crosses the goal line. Please tell me we can turn that off??
It could be cool if the camera continued to shake beacause of the crowd going wild when the home team score but that is not what it looks like they are going for here. It seems to be another arcade effect for both teams and nothing to do with the crowd.
The video doesn't do some of the changes some justice. For one seeing the Ice IQ isn't gonna show as well when you got 2 humans on each team moving around doing whatever. It's one of those things you will notice both offensively and defensively. There will always be bonehead plays by the AI regardless.
Imo the goaltending is greatly improved and yeah some of those goals were definitely weird, but it's hard to program a goalie to either stop everything or let everything in.
I agree using the NHL players doesn't showcase what can actually be done in the game, but it's meant to be more of a marketing tool using the cover athletes. Come Friday you can watch and hear from the better players how they feel about changes and such.

Could you give any specific examples of when ICE-Q was prominent in the gameplay? I have watched it a few times and did not see anything that made any of its features stand out. Plus, the goalies didn't look different at all from NHL 24 saves and movement, if there was, what part of the gameplay video portrayed it?
I'm generally curious about it as I held up the video of the gameplay (using a tablet) and had it beside NHL 24 gameplay (on my tv) and couldn't see a difference whatsoever.
As of right now I can't but soon I will delve into my experience. The good, the bad, the ugly.
