It's not a surprise EA's stock has taken a tumble. Both FC 25 and NHL 25 have made no strides forwards when launched and then made worse by so called "updates".
I don't get a sense the Devs of either game are passionate or particularly talented, that's not to say they aren't... but it's not evident based on the work being shown, and EA is a long shot away from making the kinds of games they used to. When you make games solely to stuff them with micro transactions and take the focus away from creativity and fun, this is what you get.
