No Exact Matchmaking Option in EASHL
Why is there no Exact Matchmaking option in EASHL Clubs? A full team of 6 should be matching with a full team of 6.
There is also no Best Game Location option either. Why was this removed?

Very frustration to se game location removed. Bring back strict and region search. Set region as default and remove relaxed!
Idk, I'm having a wonderful time playing on 120+ ping constantly because I'm getting matched with euro players.
Standard, common, regular EA L.
I can't fathom the meeting at the studio where it was brought up that "we should remove the ability to match room size and Goalie".
Who in their right mind would think that's the solution to reducing Matchmaking times? People clearly enjoy this game 6v6. It's honestly the purest way to play this game (zero A.I.). Not to mention having a human goalie and being matched up against a CPU goalie. Nobody wants that, and it's weird someone at EA thought we did.
I am puzzled by this entire thing. I don't know if its intentional, or better phrased, a game design choice. The complete radio silence in the face of numerous posts and inquiries is also strange. And it flies in the face of last year when there was a lot of responsiveness from the CMs and community feedback was incorporated into updates. Lot of speculation going on.
Edit: From today's patch notes from Aljo there is circumstantial evidence its intentional and that matchmaking parameters are being left to the algorithm:
With Patch 1.1.0 patch now live, team size has a higher priority in viability.
We will continue to monitor matchmaking metrics as the community grows and use those insights to enhance player experiences and we will provide additional updates regarding the matchmaking soon.
It's beyond puzzling at this point. They're quickly burning through any goodwill they built up with NHL 24. The complete lack of even the slightest acknowledgement that there's a problem is doing nothing but building up resentment in the community. It's actually kind of sad after the strides they made last year to better engage with the players.
Maybe they Thought They Fixed the AI so Good This Year like they Claimed that People Would Be Okay with It Lol. Turns Out the AI is Just as Bad As usual Though and same with the Bad Goalies Making Questionable Saves/Decisions
I don't buy anyone in this company has meetings unless it has to do with HUT packs prices
Community managers have completely ignored the matchmaking/region selection problem in WoC. I'm guessing they're under strict orders not to respond to it for some bizarre reason. *intentionally generating negative PR to boost algorithm hits on social media* Blink twice if this is true EA_Aljo

What's the word here? This is a pretty big problem...not to mention an extremely egregious omission.Patch 1.1.0.1 just released (second patch)...still ignoring the problem
Well it looks like its not related to early access at all. Either its bugged or they decided to remove it all together. Either way its frustrating there has been no communication on this issue besides the patch notes relating to the goalies. Please add it back or get it fixed soon so we don't have to back out and re-invite every time we don't match a team of 6.
Yeah typically when the CM's stay mum on a glaring issue, it's because they've been told not to engage. This release is going sideways in a hurry

This is absolutely incomprehensible how such a feature can be missing.
Its really frustrating to search for an opponent when the game only gives opponents from the United States. Im from Europe.
FIX PLEASEEA_Aljomatchmaking is still broken. While the social media team is currently posting uploads on instagram. How can you market a game, and push preorders/early access incentives so much for a game that we cannot play?
something as simple as game location and room size left out. Seriously EA?
The more disturbing part is the silence from EA on the matter...they better not bury their heads in the sand on this one.
