Anyway absolutely nothing that I and others have requested has been included in this patch, purchasing the deluxe edition was pointless for us who play chel as its not worth playing with the features that are missing and certain bugs... I'm disgusted the game has released as it has, and will 110 percent not be buying another EA Sports NHL game again on release... From lack of feedback (apart from one of the community managers which has been nothing constructive) I genuinely believe unless they bring someone new in to make these games how they used to be its potentially a downhill from here...I know many others who wont buy your games day one again either, and it's sad because of the memories many of us make on your game. They need to stop trying to make a brand new game every year and just release updates and make this game f2p. If they want to charge us for totally new roster update every new season fine. Yup this Is Absolutely Brutal, There Have been a Lot of Things Wrong With EA’s NHL Series for the Past Few years, And it Certainly hasn’t Been Getting any Better. In Fact it’s gotten way worse!! Lack of innovation, lack Of Fixes, Lack of Communication!

None of the things we’re complaining about should be an issue. when started creating my chel character and saw the same exact chel custom equipment from last season I knew right away how much effort was actually put into the game. I jumped back into 24 to do a comparison and despite the long matchmaking times, still had more fun playing. I think I’m just going to find a nice rpg and play pga masters until this thing goes half off. Hopefully by the holidays.

  Thing is I actually love the new physics of the puck and skaters and the new vision control it’s awesome! But the fact we can’t have exact region and player count, we don’t have the nhl colours preset when creating a team, and more! Hell I turn the volume off my PlayStation controller then when I restart the console it’s back on and I have to use my one pause to disable it. Absolute joke!

  I don’t blame you to be honest, and if you play Chel I wouldn’t even get it at half off unless fix / add what we are asking for… At this point I’m hoping to god another company which I won’t name will make an epic hockey game, tomorrow on stream me and my friend are going to be discussing this constructively and how things need to change…

Making the early access a week long was the beta this year, as you can see from the bleak Day 1 patch notes. They wanted people to get as many games in as possible to figure out what needs fixing lmao.

This is the first NHL I've enjoyed in awhile. I did not buy 23 or 24.
The game feels much better in 25. I'm actually enjoying it!

    And this is the frustrating thing, because the gameplay is actually awesome and I prefer it to NHL 24, realistic physics, slower paced meaning people have to cycle the puck more etc and play proper hockey! It’s matching issues, that’s the main one for me right now not having exact player count and region, but also on ps5 disabling vibration doesn’t disable it, turning controller volume off doesn’t save it when you restart the console, but yeah I agree with you, I think priority needs to be matchmaking, because they might have done this to make match making quicker it’s doing the complete opposite by having folk quit out and search again…

  Really glad you’re enjoying it dude! I’m speaking strictly issues with Chel pretty much as well as things like disabling vibration not actually disabling vibration, turning controller speaker volume off and then when you restart your PS5 it’s not saved and you have to use your only online pause to disable it again. I’m sure Hut and other offline modes are fine, but Chel is a mess, and not being able to set your match making to exact region / player size etc… I will have to play nine Chel stuff until they / if they fix it for now…

If you spent full price on THIS GAME after their horrid marketing and knowing this franchise, you deserve to be fleeced. I don't pity you cause you should already know better.

Even if they addressed everything, history shows their next patch will revert everything new they added. There's a reason tens of thousands of players wait for the Black Friday sale to buy— be smarter.

And it's a shame cause this is their best game since '22

Hey, everyone. I absolutely understand you were hoping for more updates with this patch. Unfortunately, most issues found during early access can't be addressed until later patches. These take time to reproduce, fix, test and release. We are working to resolve issues as soon as possible.

  So someone's gotta ask, but why wasn't there a beta this year? There seems to have been substantial updates from the beta in previous years that were done for day 1 launches. Now people who played the trial or extra for the deluxe were essentially the beta testers. The bug list for 25 is quite larger as far as game breaking. Seems like skipping the beta wasn't a good mood. Concerning on top of the that non-existent marketing, leads me to believe the NHL team was gutted for one reason or another

  EA_AljoI think anyone being reasonable understands that bugs/glitches that are found in early release can’t be patched day one even if some people might have unrealistic expectations or be disappointed. But why is there no answer on whether removing match region and match room size was intentional? Seems like it would be a simple yes or no answer and from what I can tell is the most frequent question about WOC. Giving no info is what makes people write the game and Dev team off entirely because they are just going to assume they don’t care about what the community wants.

I'd probably give them a little bit of time, considering that your specific requests appears to be 7ish days old..

Patches don't get pushed live that fast unless it's something they can hotfix.

  How does a game release with controller volume resetting on the ps5 controller when you disable it, wrong replays being shown, vibration not being disabled when disabling it. These are not things that we should be complaining about or that should need being fixed in a series that has been out for 25 years, some things sure need time to be fixed, but these things I just mentioned shouldn’t even need fixing in the first place…
