Thank you for getting back to me Aljo and confirming this might be an actual gameplay bug or something. Now that I have gotten a game example to be acknowledged, I will provide this Raw Practice footage using two human controllers so it will need to be manually slowed down using youtubes speed feature.
Raw Practice Footage
Summary of what is shown: I just skate across and I get tripped twice in a row. I then perform a deke and do not get tripped despite the stick going through not one but both of my legs. I go back to skating across it and once again fall over 6/7. After that I go back to performing the deke while going across and 3 times do not get tripped and then on the 4th time, I do. I go back to show a different angle showing that my right leg does come in contact with the stick in at least 2/3 tests which should have resulted in a trip. The fourth one that I do get tripped you can see that the contact isn't made until after I have regained control of the puck. Hopefully this raw footage shows that you can't in fact get tripped while in the middle of a loose puck.
Now I ask if you please can get clarification from the gameplay team if this is an intentional system or a glitch as it majorly boosts the usefulness of a poke check on an opponent mid deke?
