Players randomly losing X-Factors/Abilities during the season

I haven't played 25 but I did notice that if I added X factors to guys, they would lose them upon returning from any injury.  After that point, if I attempted to add back the X factors, they would lose them after a week or two (without injury).  

I didn't notice it happen to any players who organically obtained X factors, just one's that I edited.  So just another case of EA limiting customization in an offline mode...
