I think people would see a lot less issues with the menus and matchmaking if they stopped using quick resume on Xbox. I've seen a lot of people have weird issues with this game and you find out they always run the game from quick resume.
I don't think I've ever had a game function correctly while coming back from Quick Resume. There's always some kind of weird stuff that goes on so I've always been in the habit of making sure NHL 25 is 'quit' when I'm done. My club does the same thing and we've never experienced the issues you've laid out in your post.
I don't think quick resume should be enabled for NHL 25 IMO.
