return of nhl 94 controls in nhl 25

The NHL 94 controls are not returning. Can you tell me specifically what the difference is? As far as I know, Hybrid are the same except for faceoffs. Which you can do just by flicking down on the right stick. Otherwise, you can still shoot and pass with the face buttons.

My son won't play 24, and now 25, as he preferred the simplified controls. It was easier for his smaller hands, and was simplified, the new controls he can't stand so while I move up, he refuses to play after the switch. It really is not difficult to keep the old controls as an option. Removing them completely and ignoring the many requests to make multiple options, is simply arrogance. 

Which controls are they not able to use specifically? Hybrid controls are almost the same as the old NHL 94 controls.

Its largely your hitting mechanics, not as easy to use, though I myself got used to it, his smaller hands found it much more difficult. Thanks for those details. It's understandable then that he'd have a hard time with the new controls. You may be able to assign some custom controls. There is a toggle hold option in the Xbox controls. I'm not sure if PS has this as well. That may be a good option for him.

I miss the other company that made a hockey game so you aren't even able to listen to your customers who buy the games. you are only asked to bring back the nhl 94 controls and you don't want to. I play with NHL 23 since it still has 94 controls. There is a petition on the internet for the return of the NHL 94 controls and several people have signed the petition but it seems that it does not bother you to know that many no longer want to know anything about NHL 24 and NHL 25 because of your refusal to bring back the NHL 94 controls. I would be in your place and would think about it again because it is potential customers who can buy your games. me time and as long as the nhl 94 controls don't come back your nhl games it's over for me. I think that in 2024 almost 2025 a company should listen a little to these customers....

We always appreciate feedback. That plays a big part in what changes with each game and in the patches we release throughout the year. However, we also aren't going to act on everything that's being requested. The NHL 94 controls are 99% the same as Hybrid. So, I am assuming that is the reason they were removed. Since there's already a layout that includes those controls. Faceoffs are different since you are using the stick instead of hitting a button.

What specifically do the NHL 94 controls do that is not covered by the Hybrid layout?

First this is something you guys decided let the players decide it's not like there is not enough hard drive space to have the NHL 94 control's I have been playing video games since 1980 I spent a lot of money but thanks to you leaving this option out you just saved me another $70.00 two years in a row thank God I kept NHL 23.

I drive a Ford you drive a Chevy why do you a car is a car so why not drive a Ford oh gee it is because you prefer Chevy over Ford but they keep both styles don't they but my point many like to have as many options of game play like the control's you have not given one true reason to remove them other then you deciding what's best for us. Remember like EA sports always said if it is in the game it is in the game well NHL 94 controls were in the game but now they are gone not because they don't work but because you like to give and take thanks again for saving me now two years in a row $70.00 now that is not going to be in the game but in my pocket.
