Or setting option prior to selecting game mode in CHEL that you can turn on or off for anything on screen.

This would be a welcome change for many. I know the team is especially aware of the on-screen real estate the chat box takes up. We'll have to wait and see if it's addressed.

• Custom mapping of the 4 right buttons (x,o,^,[] or abyx) would be great since the 300$ controller people can customize

This is a tricky one. While I agree it would be great to have, it has the potential to be exploited. For example, the unrealistic skating that could be done with puck protect before NHL 25. What you can currently do though is remap the buttons through your console's settings. However, that changes those buttons for everything. So, that's best when you have a controller that offers separate profiles.
