Skill based matchmaking is a bad idea...for now

Hear me out...skill based matchmaking would only exacerbate the existing slow matchmaking issues. The player base is also too small at the moment for this to really work. My advice would be try to learn and for higher ranked player like myself, I try to teach. I try to help others with their loadouts and try to encourage team play. Part of the issue with this game is the community has become very toxic over the years. I think we should try to build a more supportive positive culture. Treat others with respect, maybe welcome some new teammates, appreciate the winning teams solid play and shoot over a GG instead of a nasty gram. I don't see how any of this would do anything but make a more enjoyable experience for everyone. Have a good day everyone...see you on the ice!
