Trying to do the objective for the XP season 4 week one Toe Drag shots with any player. I use skill stick and do the bottom half rotate half a circle to do toe drags and then shoot but they aren’t registering as a toe drag shot, 3 games in I am 0 registered. Even in the list of button commands under offense controls all it shows is toe drag right stick half circle. I know if I switch to total control and just hold x and flip up on the RS i am pretty sure that will register. Just curious as to if anyone has encountered this or if I am doing toe drags shot shots on skill stick wrong… I don’t like using the X button to drag shots because 90% of the times you miss the net completely.

I posted a similar complaint regarding toe drag shots. I had over a dozen not registered. Just gave up trying. Why I asked in my post if anyone else was experiencing this. And obviously by your post. I am not alone in my irritation.

But are you doing it right? YOu fake shot, (press the right stick) then pull back your RS (down on right stick) right away, the puck has to hit the goalie, if another player or stick hits the puck before the goalie it wont count

Controller layout doesn’t say that. It shows the half circle on the RS for a tow drag

Try this. Click in the right stick, then right stick down and right stick up. Like winding up for a slapshot with clicking in the right stick.

Damm you can play? Ever since the lady update it hasn't let me play hut and keeps saying check your connections I thought the server was down for everyone

I have playing this game since 92. I know you meant to help out with your comment. And I appreciate it. I am just not getting recognition for the toe drags. This happens periodically in this game. Checks not counted. Blocked shots not counted. Poke checks not counted. I'm not saying it happens all the time but it does on occasion.

Good alternative Aljo. But it doesn't fix the issue I am complaining about.

Tried that too. Just with the rotation. Hasn’t registered. I think I’ll pass on that objective. Not gonna go crazy over it.

You try doing all of that in higher divisions. I have just enough time to roll the right stick and flip up for a shot. Literally doing a toe drag shot. Why it doesn’t register as such makes no sense. Why I have to motorcycle kick and do all this extra when it simple says. Toe drag shots. 🤷🏻‍♂️

You need to click in the right stick and then go down then up on the right stick.
