Stick lifting

In the latest patch (or early), the player's control was changed when lifting the X+r1 stick. Before that, when animating the lifting, the pivot point was on the player and you used the stick to turn the player onto the opponent's stick. Now the player's stick is oriented towards the puck, and the stick moves the player, not the turn. This made it much more difficult to lift the opponent's stick.
Please return it back, otherwise it will become even more difficult to defend yourself.

As far as I know, nothing has changed with stick lifting this year. Can you get a video of this? Please publish it through your console or put it up on YouTube and respond with a link. Thanks!

I'm not entirely sure what the issue is that OP is experiencing. Personally, I've been having zero problems stick lifting.

Thanks for all the effort you put into making that video!

It looks like you're talking about the extended stick lift and not a normal stick lift. You only need to hold down X. You don't need R1+X.

Yes, I'm talking about the new stick lift. x+r1. you can lift from behind, and more distance. Until December, when a new animation was triggered, the player's control point changed, we controlled the stick.

Old lifting has not changed, this question is not about him.

I don't think that's actually new. I'll ask about it though.
