Wait times: lack of player base....

There was a time, in the not-so-distant past, but seems like several years ago, where this game had a better player/fan base. 

And just when you think that your random arse is about to get teamed with another random, or randoms in Threes, 3vs3, etc., that you expect will have some integrity, competitiveness, a will to win, understand the game of hockey (team sport), pass the puck, etc., NOPE, and that's versus a team of non-randoms, or randoms, where we end up getting railroaded. Who in the blue hell enjoys this game online, anymore? 

And with that, take a good look at why wait times are so long. There was a time, as I've mentioned previously, where there was a demographic that absolutely enjoyed online hockey video gaming. And that coincided with less wait times, awesome competition, a want and will to play online, and a much better experience for others that also wanted that. I mean, really, why play online for anything less? 

This game, currently, as far as online play goes, is an absolute mess. Yeah, it's an issue with those that have made this game, but another issue consists of the online gamers. The once decent and acceptable integrity is long gone, just like the depleting online hockey gaming community. 

Bottom line, the tolerance level of a once great community of hockey video game players has significantly decreased. And subsequently, so has the population of this once great hockey video game series. Unfortunately, because of those changes, a level dumbassery has increased, and has greatly affected the current state of this hockey video game.
