What happened to NHL25?

I can't be the only one to think this years game started great but is now seemingly heading slowly back toward feeling like NHL 24 gameplay/sliders, etc. Especially after the latest patch that dropped a week or so ago. And that is ABSOLUTELY NOT a good thing at all. My 6v6 club has played together since 2013 and with NHL 24, we were at the brink and extremely close to quitting.

However we played it out and hoped a new year and a new game would bring change. And it did. The game felt different and great. But now we find ourselves a month or so out of release and a couple update patches in and this years game is slowly but surely feeling very familiar. And not in a good way. It's playing/feeling very very much like NHL 24. The game we left in the rearview and was optimistically hoping we would never have to see again. But here I find myself in the forums. Pleading and hoping someone will read this and get the feedback to devs. Hopefully to get some changes going back in the right direction before this game turns back into the garbage of yesteryear that we all loathed so much.

If the gameplay/sliders continue back in that NHL24 direction and nothing changes, I sadly fear we will most certainly be done early this year. If you agree or have similar opinion, please like this post 👍🏻 as it will certainly get more admin attention/notice. And please leave a comment if you and you're crew have similar opinion. Take a min and reply. I'd love to hear your thoughts as well. Nothing changes without giving EA NHL devs your feedback & thoughts. Thank you in advance 👍🏻

  • All of these video clips are great! I will try to upload some of my own if I can figure out how to do it like you have. I also play games that work this smoothly, at times I get one or two good ones in, but it is noticeable that the CPU is more agressive, and it feels like their guys can take more punishment but at the same time are easy to trip, fall or cause a penalty.

I just want a more balanced and believable experience. I do not want to change a thousand sliders.

It's always best to post videos somewhere they can be streamed. In most cases, that's YouTube. Another good option is to publish them through your console. Both Sony and MS will host your clips if you've made them public.

What is this now? Can you share a link, I am interested to check this out - thanks!

I just started to save video clips on the console when i see "stuffs", but i do not have an online subscription, so i am not sure how to move these to get them online quickly and easily?

I love the way KidShowtime1867 provides these video clips! What tool is being used to make those?

I might just record some video from my phone to get it online :) lol

KidShotime makes gifs out of his clips. They may have some instructions for doing that.

As far as publishing your clips through your console goes, which one are you on? Those instructions can be found with a web search. It's a lot easier to record them on your console than your phone.

I use the XBox capture feature, and I've set my settings so that my clips are auto uploaded to the XBox Network

Settings > Preferences > Capture & Share > Automatic uploads and choose to upload to OneDrive, the Xbox network, or both

Then, I go to Xboxdvr.com , enter my GamerTag and all my recent clips are there.

I go the extra mile by using an app called GIFCam and basically capture the part of the clip I want to post on the forums as a GIF and upload it to IMGUR.com

Very cool! I just followed the settings in PS5 along the same lines as you did for XBox and it got me setup but it uses a PS App.

So now I need to find a way into the web version of this app to chop these videos up like you did:)

I will check out these links for sure - thanks again!!
