What's the current status of matchmaking in NHL 25?

After having read a bunch of threads about the problems with matchmaking in NHL 25, I would like to hear from members of the community. What is your experience today? Do you find online versus matches in online mode, HUT and CHEL? I have no chance in finding matches and opponents in none of the online modes at all. I first thought it might be because I am using Microsoft GamePass Ultimate with CloudGaming, but then I realized that it might be a problem for console players as well. I would appreciate any feedback from you. Thanks in advance and have a good time.

Hello. The majority of the community has moved on to NHL 26 so you're going to have a harder time finding matches in NHL 25.

We'll have to wait and see if NHL 26 becomes playable through Cloud Gaming. The last couple of games released in the spring. Should it happen, we'll make an announcement.

Thanks for taking time to answer. We already discussed shortly, if NHL 26 will become available as GameCloud option in my GamePass Ultimate subscription. As of now, this seems still to be unclear. I think I will only be playing NHL 25 casually, till I know this for sure. Not gonna invest a lot of time and effort into it when online gaming is at this level. Do you have any new information about the state of the matter according to NHL 26 becoming available on the GameCloud?

Just a refresher. While I could find some online matches in HUT and Online Versus in the meantime, it still seems that this game is pretty dead when it comes to online play. At least what I am experiencing with NHL 25 at this point, playing it over GamePass on the CloudGaming platform. In 3on3 CHEL EASHL I can barely find some players at any given time of the day and EASHL 6on6 is dead. I could not find a single game in the last 10 days. I really wonder, if this is a thing with my setup (CloudGaming) or Network or if this is something you folks encounter too. In any case, have fun and take care.
