Are they really gonna wait till NHL 26 with Celebrini and also Smith scans and silhouettes? Is it that hard to put it into the game with the next update? I understand why it was not given in the beginning, but he was a first overall pick and I would really enjoy playing franchise mode for Sharks. But I can't if the best player has generic face and no silhouette in the game.
Hi there. Each year, the leagues send us the headshots that get used in the game. If that photo isn't sent to us, it means they will have to go without one for the season. This often happens when a player isn't there the day these pics are being taken.
As far as scans go, that's a whole different issue. We try to get as many of them in the game as possible. It's a pretty involved process that requires getting the player out to our studio in Vancouver. I know there is the ability to travel with the rig used for scans as well, but that's not something that we can just do on a whim. Hopefully, we'll see these players added in the future, but most likely, it won't happen in 25.
