Can’t Find A Game 60+ Minutes
EA_Aljowhat is going on with the matchmaker? I’ve tried quick play and dropin 3’s there are no matches. We just sit there and it times out 3 times after 3+ minutes. But after waiting 10 minutes with no matches I can leave while that team is still searching and instantly find another group of people. Then I can leave them while they are still searching and find anther one. And another. It takes less than 30 seconds to find another group of people and I can hop rooms like crazy finding more people searching. But none of those groups are getting matched up because then I’ll wait another 10 minutes with one of them and same thing despite me being able to bounce at any time and find a new group. Why are all these people sitting in lobbies not playing each other? There’s no reason I should be waiting 10 minutes then leave and find a new group of people to wait with in 15 seconds . That makes no sense.
No best game location makes matchmaking annoying.
Best game location as an option for matchmaking makes it so the game always finds games that are suitable in terms of ping. Without this, it’s very common to get into games with high ping; which you have two ways of approaching. Either you stick through it, while this puts you at a huge competitive disadvantage as you are playing with high ping, but at least you get to play a game. Or, you can keep leaving games before they start to reset matchmaking to roll the dice and potentially find a game with suitable ping, which is rare at certain times. Please add this option back to matchmaking, not only for WOC, but for every online mode, as it greatly improves the overall experience players have.
Fix the matchmaking in WoC
Hi, feels nice to pay 60% more for a game that is actually broken. Our team has played the whole week and everyday its hours sitting in the dressing room as we are connected to North America opponents while we are based in Europe. Matchmaking fix needs to happen fast. Just bring back the same options as you did have in the 24.. Please react fast as ppl are really getting angry inside the community because you cannot play decent games in EASHL/WoC. Also add the match my room size in there. EA SPORTS NHL 25 launches worldwide tomorrow and there are a few issues that we’ve addressed in this Day 1 Patch. Read on for all the details. The Lobby Sim 25
The matchmaking is so utterly broken in EASHL and OVP, that it needs to be fixed within week or this game is already good as dead. We need back match room size, region and goalie, asap. We are team of 3-4, and would like to match same size teams as it’s most fair for everyone to play. We have tried to play two nights now, for roughly 2.5h. More than half of that time is spent on lobby. Either our opponents back out, or we back out due horrendous ping or wrong room size. The matchmaking seems to put everyone in one big pool and just randomise the opponent without any logic or region priority. Most of the time we are matched to full NA teams (being from EU)… We even tried to match our rival team from another town, which took us 6 tries even we tried to synchronise the search. How is this even possible? This randomness leads me to think that this is done on purpose to combat teams that tamper their win rates?EA_Aljo
We need FIX and QUICK!
Not getting games in ANY GAME MODE. How is this possible? FIX your things EA and QUICK PLEASE. Did i pay for not playing game this even i want to play? Seems like it when i cannot play any online game mode... Maybe one game after30 MINUTES OF WAITING!Should this game be calledWAITING SIMULATOR 25? PLEASE FIX THIS AND QUICK. And please bring back searching settings to EASHL. And maybe it is time to totally separate North America and Europe also. When you get game it is SUPRISINGLY 120 PING GAME... No one does not want to play North America vs Europe games and you know it.
Broken Matchmaking
Matchmaking is currently NOT matching goalies, as mentioned in the last “patch”. The wait times are also not ridiculous, having to wait several minutes to find a game, 36 hours after it has launched is unheard of in the gaming world, this is truly unacceptable. Please give us some feedback on what is going on with matchmaking, it has been radio silenceEA_Aljo this is not following the “want to be more involved with the community” mantra that was promised last year
EASHL Matchmaking
I can speak for all EASHL players when I say the latest 'patch' did nothing to fix matchmaking. Can someone from EA please explain why there is no match room size, or server location and why the hell was it taken out? We have been unable to find matches, and if we do it's against Europe team with 180+ ping, or teams with 4/6 while we have 6/6. Please fix ASAP.
State of EASHL / WoC
With the removal of search settings, “queue dodging” is becoming a widespread issue. Player goalies are being forced into unfair matchups against AI, and lag in some games is completely out of control with the server region settings gone. it’s now harder than ever to get into a game, and even more difficult to enjoy the game you get into. Many posts have been made about this issue, and it’s yet to be addressed leaving me to believe that the removal of this feature is intentional. Looking for a community manager response
