Roster update before world juniors?
Will there be a roster update before the world juniors start? there are players who should be in the game that have been named to world juniors rosters and i assume the roster guy is working on those rosters would be easy if those could be added in since i want to create my own roster for the world juniors. examples: rasmus bergkvist who played 25 games with skelleftea isn‘t in the game. Gian Meier(Frölunda) Nily Rhyn,Alain Graf (SC Bern) Vojtech Cihar (Energy karlovy vary) Viggo Gustafsson(Timra IK) If the goal is to do a roster update i can make a complete list of these players. there are even players who have been in previous games that aren‘t on the rosters that they should be on. Suggestions for Career and Franchise Mode Improvements in NHL 26
The Career mode in NHL 25 lacks several key elements to make the experience more immersive and realistic. It would be beneficial to add richer interactions between the player, the coach, the managers, and the team. Currently, the training sessions are too limited and could be much more realistic and impactful on player development. Additionally, allowing players to start very young, at age 14, in summer camps or junior leagues, would add a deeper dimension to a player's career. Furthermore, the Franchise mode could be improved by allowing players to start in any league, including those not currently available in the game. This would provide more diversity and strategic choices, allowing players to build a career at their own pace and create new dynamics for each team. These improvements would greatly enrich the overall experience of the game, offering more flexibility and opportunities to shape the player's journey. While it may be too late for NHL 25, these suggestions could be considered for NHL 26 if the developers are open to them. I hope a dev will answer my message or not :D
World of Chel servers
Anyone else having major issues finding games? I have played 3 games that last 3 hours. I get stuck with people leaving the lobbies, and when I do find a game it's unfair matchmaking. 6v6 takes forever! Same with 3v3. Fix these issues EA! Maybe fill the lobbies with bots? Or when a player leaves the Lobby don't make it corrupt the whole search.
Bring NHL back to PC – Crossplay potential
Hello EA Sports NHL Team, I have been a loyal NHL fan since NHL 07 on PC. After that, I played every NHL game on PS3, PS4, and PS5, buying each new release. But now that I’ve switched to PC, I can’t play NHL anymore, and I really miss it. I truly believe NHL on PC has great potential, especially with crossplay. Many PC players want to play with their friends on consoles, both together in online clubs and against each other. If crossplay works in FIFA and NBA, why not in NHL? Eventually, it will have to happen, so why not now? By not releasing NHL on PC, you are losing dedicated fans who have simply moved to a better platform for graphics and performance. It’s frustrating that I can no longer enjoy NHL with my friends like before. My friend and I used to create an online club—me as a Center, him as a Goalie—and we had so much fun playing together. Now, I have no way to experience that, and I know I’m not the only one in this situation. I don’t want to buy a console just for NHL, and I don’t want to be forced to just watch others play while I sit out simply because I chose to game on PC. Please consider bringing NHL back to PC with full crossplay support. There is a demand for it, and many fans would love to see it happen. Thank you for your time.
Tick Rate/ FPS / Hz / Server Latency
This game needs to be optimized for this generation console. It only runs at 60hz, Valorant that has now been ported to console runs a server update/send and simulation rate of 128hz with a receiving rate of either 60hz or 120hz depending on the user's settings. Even Call of Duty plays 12 player Team Death Match at 60hz server tick rate and has a 120hz mode in the settings for users with compatible hardware. Lastly NHL 25 server algorithm for World of Chel was amazing West and East Coast players had close to 20ms - 30ms difference which made an enjoyable experience to play the game. With this latest update game developers put back a (best game location) and now being from Los Angeles I find most games are now 85ms - 100ms just like every year prior to NHL 25. My Internet Provider has been the same for years and have constantly upgrade my plan when available and service checks to make sure everything is running correctly. The fact is there are more Northeast players than West. The only way fair play works is by removing (best game location) and (region) of the clubs, have a fixed search by the average player location in the que. Which means utilizing the North-Central, Central and South-Central servers.
Club 3's Matchmaking
Since the option to match team size has magically vanished from last year's game and somehow hasn't been able to be re-implemented for no real reason told to us, just change the requirements to even start matchmaking. Make it so that you actually need three human players to play the mode. 9/10 times we have to sit there and watch multiple 2-man teams back out of the lobby because they only want to play other 2-man teams. This sometimes goes on for up to 10+ minutes and it's an obnoxious waste of time. We shouldn't have to wait to play because we actually HAVE three people read to play the three player mode. You should be forced to gamble with a rando FA drop-in playing or go back to a casual mode if you are incapable of finding one more person to make a club with. Either bring back match team size or make this change already, it's ridiculous.Please add IIHF worlds players to the basic international teams
HelloEA_Aljo could you please pass this on to the people responsible for the roster? International teams like kazakhstan are completely made up of players wo are generated altough the real roster is in the game for the IIHF mode. Please copy all players in the world championship mode to the normal international teams, this also gives us the option to edit these players. Austria,France,Kazakhstan,GB,Denmark etc all have players who are in the world championship mode but miss on the international team. Would be nice to have more varity for the international team as s roster only consisting of 20 players when these nations have hundreds of players to choose from.
