EASHL Club 3's matchmaking

Trying to play EASHL club 3's with my friend and it won't match us with another club unless we allow drop ins. We got into one game with another team of 2, and then after that, every time we start matchmaking, it counts up to 2 minutes and then auto cancels matchmaking. We then tried putting allow drop ins to yes, and found 2 games no problem. Anyone else having this issue?
