NHL Is Not The Same
NHL games used to be very enjoyable, nowadays it seems like EA does not care about how the games they release play. NHL 25 has a ton of major issues (EASHL and I'm sure other game modes) including glitches and issues with the matchmaking. Players still have to deal with the loadout glitch which has been an issue for YEARS. Theres also glitches when trying to start an EASHL game like it just not loading the game at all until someone leaves the lobby, and the beginning face-off repeating over and over again. It takes forever to even find a match so when these glitches occur after trying to search for a game 3 separate times and after 10 minutes of searching, this can be very irritating. Along with the matchmaking taking forever to even find a game, you are often put up against a team full of elites while your whole team is unranked. It's like watching an OHL team playing against the Florida Panthers. and even if you were to beat that team, you still only gain 200 points towards ranking up, while a loss against that same team would have you lose 400-600. The hitting in this game is atrocious, the AI and controlling a goalie is terrible. I used to play nothing but goalie and now it feels like a punishment all because of terrible animations which the goalie has no business doing for certain shots and the number of glitch goals there are within the game. I truly believe the last good NHL game was NHL 14-15. This series has gone downhill and the community has spoken out for so long and EA just ignores it and adds stupid stuff that no one asks nor cares about.
Too whom of my concern
I’ve been playing nhl 25 on my x box since it came out and I seen that there was a free trial on my PlayStation so I linked my account to it and once I tried playing on my x box again I lost all of my progress and the money I’ve devoted to the game. If you could respond with a answer to this it would be much appreciated Aidan
Getting configuration error message trying to load chel game
So its been a couple of days now and every time i try to load into a game of chel 6v6 drop in i always get the same error message “could not load game configuration” when the lobby timer ends and the game is about to start. I have tried my account on two different ps5’s and it gives the same message error on them both. But when i log into another account i have it works with no issue. Also my name for chel is greyed out and i cannot change it.
Can not connect to servers
I play on xbox and have a Xbox series X. Played all day yesterday no issues. Went to log in this morning and says can not connect to EA servers. I have tried all the fixes I have seen on here and nothing has worked. Reset Router, unplug modem to reset, cleared cache on my Xbox, test internet connection speed, network type etc etc. I turned on nhl 24 and connected no issues right away. It's very frustrating that can not play. What other options are there?
Well thats messed up
Completed a goal that would have finished a category and given me like 17000 exp to get some packs but guess it didn't register because the game didn't finish quick enough even though I claimed the objective right then man I am so sick to my stomach right now with the exp I had already cashed in cos at the time it meant nothing then to find out a couple hours after that they extend the season and now this what an awful waste perturbed beyond belief and exhorbitently nonplussed I don't think this is at all fair hopefully something can be done to fix this is unreal just a shame yea people gna as well why did you cash in all the XP and you know the answer is because it wouldn't have meant anything if the season didn't get expanded so save it would have got this done last night if not for the constant connection and login issues man what a bummer
Servers are down AGAIN!
According to EAs server status the game is up and running........ liar's. The servers are atrocious why can't the Europen players mix with our brothers from across the pond anymore. Last three NHLs I would matchmake with US and Canadian players no problem at all it's how I met all my American and Canadian friends. NHL 25 comes out and it was fine until the second update then all of a sudden I'm only finding games in Europe and it still hasn't been addressed months later. After 11PM it's impossible to find a game before 11PM it's extremely hard to find a game it's absolutely broken this year and you only had the next gen consoles to optimize it on I'm embarrassed for yous.
Why do players stay on ice when the have no energy
Most times my lines change proper but in the most key moments of the game players don't change proper...ie penalty kill you dump puck out change lines cuz there drained and someone doesn't change and cost you a goal against because they have no juice
Players feel like they're skating in mud
I have a good wired connection and ping is down etc but my players feel like they're skating in mud and the opposition just walks past me regardless of the players overall. I've tried everything from changing DNS and clearing cache but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help? I'm on Xbox Series XCrashing
My game constantly keeps crashing in every game mode. I can’t play world of chel without crashing cause my team to constantly lose games because im kicked as goalie or player. I’ve uninstalled reinstalled cleared my profile and saved data completely hard wiped my Xbox and soft wiped it. Multiple of my roommates play on the same router and this doesn’t happen to them. I do I fix this because at this point I am unable to play the game and it’s frustrating. ThanksNHL 25 Game Disc won’t load
I bought the new nhl 25 physical copy and every time k try and load the disc it only shows as an error even though I have the correct version of disc with the correct Xbox version. I attempted to buy it online which led me to refund the online purchase, and even that didn’t work for some odd reasonCannot Exit Offline Practice Mode
I created a practice (breakout) session 2 on 2 with my son on second player. We cannot complete the practice and we are not able to exit the session. Upon rebooting the Xbox puts us right back in to the practice session; skipping the main startup menu. While in the practice session nothing will bring up the menu to quit. How do we get out of this? At this point I cannot play the game because of this stuck loop.
