Never mind, I got it. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it solved the problem.

Try removing the game from Quick Resume. If you leave the game without exiting out of a mode and go back to the main menu, this will happen. You also can try completely shutting down NHL 25 and loading back into it.

Select the game in Quick Resume and hit the Menu button. It's the small, hamburger button to the right of the guide button. Then choose Remove from Quick Resume.

Highlight NHL 25 under Quick Resume. Hit the hamburger button on your controller and select "Remove from quick resume".

I got this game 2 days ago on disk for PS5. I have great internet and have this problem every day.
