Try removing the game from Quick Resume. If you leave the game without exiting out of a mode and go back to the main menu, this will happen. You also can try completely shutting down NHL 25 and loading back into it.

Never mind, I got it. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it solved the problem.

This is happening to me to. Very frustrating I removed the game from quick resume and it’s still happening also uninstalled and reinstalled and is still happening what can I do

That would be a different issue then. When are you getting the message and what does it say?

It comes up right as I open the game as I’m entering the main menu
the message is
