Can’t apply purple XP tokens to upgrade purple xp player

Question

Today I unlocked the goalie kocheykov in HUT

his overall can be upgraded to 88

well I have many upgrade cards, attached be low. The screenshot shows what happens when I go to apply these to the goalie it shows as if nothing is there.

i have upgraded him two slot but the game is not recognizing my further XP tokens to upgrade him the remainder.

As we can see I have many xp tokens ready to be used for the upgrade

Simple, those are XP collectibles, you need XP tokens, they are similar but check on the card under XP, you can trade 5 Collectibles to get 1 Tokens in the XP Sets or just get higher on the XP path, there a total of 15 Tokens to max out 1 of the XP card and there a total of an 120 Collectibles.

I can't use XP collectables OR tokens to upgrade players. I have both and the game keps telling me I don't have them. What's going on here?&nbsp;

Are your tokens red or purple? Red tokens are for season 1 so they can't be used for season 2 players. Purple tokens are for season 2. They look almost the same as the XP collectibles but they say "token" instead of "collectible".
