Do certain cards only count towards certain objectives?

Im new to HUT (im fimiliar with it but never played before) and im trying to complete the Washington Captials player objectives for this week. I currently have 2 Caps players on my team, the 85 Cover Athlete Ovi (LW1) and an 83 Power Up Icon Sergei Gonchar (LD1). I noticed that I was only getting credit for the objectives with Ovi and not Gonchar. Does anyone maybe know why? I thought it might be because the Gonchar card is a Power Up Icons card and I still have their objects to complete. I believe this is happening with the Supernatural cards a d their objectives as well as I have multiple in my line up. Any help or explanation would be greatly appreciated.

    Gonchar is an Alumni card and will not count for the Capitals Objectives this week. It doesn't matter if you've completed the Icon Objectives or not. 

    You  can go to the Capitals collection page in My Collection under NHL and any of the cards listed there will count. You can add the 82 Pierre-Luc Dubios to your team by completing the Weekly Moments to help with the Objectives.

    Not sure about the Supernatural as all mine have been counting. Is there a certain objective you're not seeing count?
