Hey, everyone. Here's what's releasing in today's content drop:
- New Pre-Season MSPs and base items
- 99 OVR Top 3 most completed Frozen Forces items
- New Sets, Objectives and HUT Moments
Hey, everyone. Here's what's releasing in today's content drop:
So you directly false advertised the week 3 Tage reward. Just because it benefited us doesn't mean you don't have to correct. If you gave out 1 coin, you would correct. You're dying on a hill that essentially you are okay with the player base having the wrong rewards.
There would only be bans if people were spending the coins in a manner that breaks the ToS. Most likely, coin distribution by trying to move them to another account.
Again, we will exchange your coins for the token. You have that option. Otherwise, you got a pretty huge payday on us. If we had made a choice pack that granted one or the other, chances are excellent 99% of the community would take the coins.
I didn't get 7 Million Coins and I still didn't finish the Tage Objectives.
But users that did got banned for 14 days and had a HUT coin reset for simply trying to redeem the token. The token is what people thought they were getting. No one chose 7M Coins as an option.
The right thing to do is to award the token.
Please explain how this isn't false advertising. Pretty sure false advertising is a massive issue, no?
Again, there is no blame that the players did something wrong. It's on us that 7 million coins were mistakenly given out. Again, if you're not happy with that, we'll exchange those for the token. Otherwise, you got a substantial amount of coins that you can buy most anything you want with. It seems like a pretty fair trade for a mistake on our end.
You are though. People obviously spent the coins. There was no warning message that said not to. EA coded it incorrectly. You guys should be rewarding what was correct. This has happened in FC many times. They always reward the correct reward through compensation. Even on packs. What is the difference here?
I never blamed the customer. Obviously, the 7 million coin glitch wasn't intended. That's still plenty of coins to get most anything you want. If you'd rather have the token though, we can exchange the coins for it.
Good to know that EA blames their customers. We didn't code the mess up. Blaming the players who still play your game in August is wild.
If you still have the 7 million coins, I can see about exchanging those for the token instead. If you'd like to do that, send me a private message with your Xbox gamertag/PSN ID and I'll look into it.
