There is not going to be a PR spin, this is what they planned to do from the beginning. Unfortunately EA is run by out of touch, greedy, never have played the game executives who care nothing about the fanbase. They care not about your feelings and they probably enjoy watching their helpless employees take the brunt of the backlash of the angry customer base. These executives are not good people so don't expect anything good to come from them.
