These challenges are absolutely ridiculous. I’m a top-skilled player with many years on the game. I have worked on this challenge for 2 straight days and 10-15 hours total. It needs to be fixed to real pro difficulty. Ridiculous, I considered deleting my HUT team because it made the entire mode not fun at all.
I'm a D2 player in '24 and currently working my way up and yeah, I 100% agree with this. I'm in the same spot, 10-15 hours grinded and I just can't get it. I can't even imagine being a D4-6 player who actually needs this card and then they realize that this is not about attrition, this is quite literally an impossible challenge. I reckon that last year, the Barzal challenges were difficult but at least Barzal was way faster than anyone else on the ice so you could actually get loose with him. But this, playing with the sliders turned up AND playing with your HUT ovr team against a Versus ovr team is not fun and its not possible. I played a Rivals game while taking a break and I immediately scored a couple of top shelf snipes in that game simply by aiming top shelf. In these moments, the input literally doesn't register the same and you can't score. In Rivals I scored with MacKinnon and Hischier, with one card having somewhat of an equivalent shot compared to Panarin and one having a lesser shot, yet I was able to score the goals with ease. I just don't think this moments challenge in its current state is possible unless you get extremely lucky.
Same here. I have played the game like 20 years, and I agree. The top shelf challenge is not pro difficulty. I just gave up, not intrested anymore to get the card. I dont even want the card anymore, because the challenge made me so frustrated.
