This may be the most unfair GC they've ever unleashed. Lord Vader with extra heal & pro AND allies extra damage AND allies assisting AND an extra summons due to enemy modifier. AND not one but two tanks who can give foresight due to global modifier. Plus, most players will miss out on full Gungan team feat w/o Jar Jar. There is also some bugginess when Lord Vader attacks, as he sort of goes past the player he is hitting. Lastly, Malak's Drain mechanic does no damage whatsoever (unless that is typical on Lord Vader team?) Any suggestions as to how to even beat tier vii? Of course my GL Kenobi is not strong enough and my Darth Bane doesn't help because he gets no benefits from his omicrons.

Quick update: Despite having close to 10mil GP, I could barely clear tier viii and ended up with a whopping 94 keycards. That seems to be shamefully stacked against the player this time around.

Seems to fit quite well with the current Raid. They played it with their full R9 maxed out 16 mil GP account, so it works fine. They probably did the same thing with their R9 maxed out gungan team. Put it on auto and it worked fine, so "release it!"Even with my R8 gungans I still had to manual it a couple times to get through it. Once it was 5 gungans vs LV at 60 stacks and I couldn't do anything to him. Every time he took a turn, all debuffs were gone, then he healed back up to full health. Finally got it, but it's ridiculously overtuned. (But CG only knows overtuned or undertuned.)

I beat t10 on the 1st try with that Leia squad, got 3 feats and will settle for the t8 box

This seems to be typical on the Gungan GC's. Not only do most miss out on the five Gungan feats, but the other feats seem nearly impossible based on the opposing team. Not sure all the mechanics in this one, but Jabba will not land a single detonator. Pretty much every team gets stomped. I got lucky after a few tries with GL Leia. She can get all the feats done, but it took a while. Almost impossible to kill LV.

  Just a note on Jabba. LV teams are immune to health-based damage effects when above a health threshold (I forget without looking it up, I think 75%). That includes DoTs as well as thermals.

Use GAS lead, Echo, Snips, Old Rex, JMK
JMK uses damage immunity on GAS, GAS gets fractured by Thrawn
Infinitely lets you stack offense for a free win around 3 minutes left

  Wow, this actually worked.
  My fifth and JMK both died, but even when Thrawn took a turn, they kept removing tm from GAS until he could fracture again. Around 3 minutes I did a bomb from Echo, LV topples GAS and kills the other two, GAS stands up and one shots LV.

I was able to clear this on auto with a standard Leia team. The usual GC team of JMK didn't work as normal but this isn't impossible by any means.

This is a tough one for sure - and I expected a tough one the last was so easy. There have been plenty of times when I needed to settle to crate 8 - and people are getting there without gungans so I can’t call this unfair. They did warn us that gungans would be needed for a lot of GCs. I think the next time they issue a warning like that it may be heeded by more players.

    Hi. Idiot here - spent the crystals for the first time on marquee characters - enough to get Jar Jar. All R7 Gungans + Jar Jar at R9. Can't beat tier 10. Seven or eight retries. One time it was down to LV and the summoned stormtrooper. For six minutes - never even got LV into the red. Eventually the shield generator went down, and the gungans followed a scant 30-40 seconds later. There's too much RNG in Gungans. Probably the most RNG-dependent faction ever. I read of some Jar Jar owners having an easy time with this GC, and others not so much. I admit I'm not the best player of the game, but I don't think I'm that bad...

What I don’t understand is why they couldn’t do a feat where they can have a full squad of gungans of at least 4. They have done something like that before with another faction. Not sure why they don’t this time around.

  There’s no money in it. They’ve made lots of changes and GC’s are the most recent change. Look how legendary and EC’s need R7 now, minimum.
