Allowing Edits in Franchise mode

I’ve bought every NHL game since 2005, but this is the first year I’m not doing it. Franchise mode just feels lifeless when you can’t actually control anything. Not being able to edit players is a huge miss — Madden, NBA, and MLB all let you do it, and it makes their franchise modes way more immersive and personal.

I honestly don’t get why EA has never even addressed this. It’s not some crazy ask; it’s a feature that’s been standard in every other sports game for years. It’s frustrating watching the NHL series fall so far behind when it used to be one of the best.
