Yes! We are all struggling with the same problem. For example, it's impossible to keep over 75 form score as a 4th liner with ice-time like 2-3 minutes if you want to get promoted to 3rd line...
EA please fix your game!

Yeah. It’s very frustrating. With whatever 4th line minutes we actually do get we’re generally solid defensively and physically with at least an even plus/minus , etc, but I end up getting the “quiet night” remarks. Irl, fourth liners get 5-15 goals a season on average but they contribute so much more with physicality and give the top lines much needed rest. I wish the game recognized this.

Someone posted in a different forum that it's obvious EA didn't properly test BAP. I don't think there's any other explanation for how badly set up the form score is. Anyone with a passing knowledge of hockey knows that a good game doesn't necessarily mean you get points, let alone score goals.
EA, you need to do the following:
* adjust the form score so that it reflects a quality game and isn't based on points alone. Hitting your overall target score in each game would be the easiest solution. If you hit your target, you should have a form score that meets the challenge. If you exceed it, your form score should be higher than the challenge. Scoring points should put you up near 100.
* your overall target score should reflect where you are in the lineup. If you're getting fourth line minutes and in a defensive role, your offence target should be C+/B-
* adjust so that fourth liners get around the NHL average 8 to 10 minutes per game. As other posters have noted, it's not uncommon to get less than 5 minutes per game and sometimes not to even see the ice during a whole period. It is nearly impossible to hit your targets or get a good form score if you're getting 3 to 5 shifts a game. - Symtexbc6 months agoNew Scout
Because the first thing a coach does after a player score a hat trick is to give him less than 3 minutes of ice time...This is EA Be a Pro in a Nutshell. It's awful and I was making the point that if anyone at EA played the BaP , they played it on rookie so they can go through their testing as fast as they could.
The whole form factor requirement on top of the total numbers of shift needs to be tweaked to allow 4th liners player to play 8-10minutes of ice time just like they do in the NHL. Wasn't EA promoting that they are now using ICE-Q data from the NHL ? The irony.

EA_Aljo or anyone else from EA, is there any news about fixing this and making Be A Pro enjoyable?

And the posts. Don’t forget the posts. I get sent down to the AHL and take it like a good little soldier. I figure I’ll at least get precious playing time and a chance to get back on track, much like they do irl. I’m a playmaker and I make two beautiful feeds to the slot only to have my cpu teammates ring it off the iron. Yeah, hitting the post is a thing but this game just seems like it’s out to get me. Lol. That was two apples that I desperately needed.
i only mention this because hitting the posts too often is another issue that’s been mentioned several times.
