BaP - roster control
I guess this is a feature request, but can we have more roster control in this mode? If we put effort to get onto our favorite team, it kinda sucks to have the team trade away over half the roster after the first year. Trades are exciting and all, but since the game doesn't tell you anything about trades whatsoever (unless you happen to see a trade announced for other teams in the ticker between games), it's kinda silly to have so many trades. Would be cool to be able to protect a certain number of players from trades so it feels like you're playing for your actual team instead of trying to figure out who is who constantly.
NHL 26 Be a Pro Coach Feedback
Hey, Be a pro "enjoyers". Why do I get demoted to healthy scratch on defence if I am leading point man in my team and my coach feedback is usually all green. Does coach feedback do anything on form score or is it just different system that tracks your points,plusminus, hits and ect? Do I have to play like a god every game to even stay in the lineup? What if, I want semi realistic career?? (Btw why I am a captain as a rookie?) Is form score too harsh on everybody else or I just suck?BaP - is there a script?
Honest question. Because sometimes it seems like there's a narrative or script that the game follows to make it either incredibly difficult, fair, or easy. Is there a behind-the-scenes difficulty rating that spikes/wanes throughout the season? I mean, it's not the worst idea if so. Every team goes through highs and lows. It's just a little strange when I'm gunning for the president's trophy and beating top teams, energy levels are maxed out...then out of nowhere a bottom 5 team will beat me 6-0 with 80-overall players dancing around completely untouchable with some backup goalie making ludicrous saves on a wide open net...while my team suddenly can't string together two passes in a row. If this mechanic does exist, it would probably be a little less frustrating if it was made visible. Like a hot/cold streak rating or something. If there is no such mechanic/script, then there's just a massive inconsistency with the difficult/skill ratings.Why is it so hard to get assists in Be a Pro?
Stop changing the game to make it different and start changing it to make it good. Players diving across the ice for back door passes that are perfectly in range just to shoot it into the goalies chest that’s moving at light speed across the crease. Get real EA.BaP - shooting percentage
Minor gripe, but shooting percentage is a silly stat to use for career progression. Shooting for rebounds is a solid strategy that the game rewards. It's a bit frustrating to fail a challenge because I dipped below 12% after scoring 2x the required points with over 90% overall. I mean, would a coach really penalize a player who averages a goal and assist per game because they put too many shots on net? Might make sense to grade based on either points scored OR shooting percentage so you fail if you are chucking pucks on net without getting results.Form score broken for defensive players
What is the point in allowing you to choose to be a defenseman enforcer if your form score is only based around offensive play. My form score isent enough to keep up with challenges because im not scoring goals so im constantly being dropped at end of chapters even though I have the most hits in the league and an A on coaches feedback. The form score should be relevant to coaches feedback and you should be rewarded on form score for being solid defensively if your a defenseman. How tf does EA **bleep** this up so badly. Be a pro would actually be so fun if they made this right but now it’s just unplayable for me as I like playing as a defenseman I don’t want to be an offensive sniper. Hockey has different positions for a reason this form score is completely broken and ruining be a pro. Please fix this EAYou guys mass marketed a failure
Conn Smythe + Calder + highest point scorer on the team = stay on the third line with no PP time, no moving up not even above 81 overall Anthony Mantha (5 min periods on superstar because my pronouns really are that/guy) any coach keeping a sophomore with those numbers on the third line is fired before the season even starts Let’s get this fixed ASAP please. Hopefully I don’t have to explain to a moderator why winning a Conn Smythe with third line minutes and no PP time should negate a fOrM sCOrE but we’ll see.BAP
I just “played” about 20 games after being called up from the AHL, in those 20 games, I sat on the bench and simmed about 10-15 of them. In the games I did get put in, I played one shift a game, or one shift a period. (Usually one per game and on 10 minute periods). You guys then ask us to maintain a 75 form score during those games, yet do not get played…. I mean does EA not grasp the concept that the way they have their game set up is that you have to be the chosen one, gods greatest gift to hockey, scoring 2 points a game. (Oh and on one shift a game if you play at all!) this is genuinely shocking, that an established company such as EA can put out a mainstream game like this and it be LITERALLY unplayable. i mean FFS, your guys whole advertisement was that be a pro was focused on and a big thing for NHL26…. Like I would love to see what goes on in the studios at EA because there’s gotta be something we as a community simply aren’t understanding at this point, because it’s like they don’t even test the game before they release it, or that anyone that actually works on this game doesn’t watch or care at all about hockey, it’s so funny to me, yet so aggravating at the same time😂 like it’s 2025 guys this is an issue id expect from a new game putting out a new game mode you guys have been around for decades working on these kind of games, figure it out.BAP: What happened??
Im not going to rehash some of the wonderful feed back you have received. The whole energy thing is ridiculous. I hate it that he max you can bank is only 12 points. Why do you have a max that you can bank? Why cant we roll it over until we need it? Where is the Calendar? I cant see the upcoming schedule? Im assuming you get your battery/health/energizer bunny pellets on Sunday, but why do I have to keep pressing “advance day” 7 times? Why not bring back the calendar? Since you removed it, why did you not have what day of the week it is something in the screen? Major mistake since it was in the previous games. Incorrect X-factors: in BAP for the goalie, you have the symbol for the Butterly perk and it describes it as “Dialed in”. Dialed in was a completely different symbol. That has to be fixed. I think you have incorrect goalie builds mixed up. I picked Hybrid but my traits are reflective to a stand up goalie. My Glove high and stick high at 88, but my glove low and stick low are at a paltry 71. Thats what you would find if you chose the Stand up goalie… And again, for the 3rd of 4th straight year. Despite being reported, talked about, complained about, discussed, posted, carrier pigeon, messaged, messaged. The controller settings are NOT saving. For a BAP goalie, you must go back and select your controller settings before every single game. Why?? Why must this be an issue still? For my BAP goalie I selected stance #26, but when playing the Jersey looks like it’s bend upwards and not natural. Why?? This doesn’t give me confidence that EA fixed the other issues like the crowd cheering for the other team. Why cant I choose what traits my XP goes to like we could on Sunday Training day? Why must the bank have a max of 12? Why does the Jersey look stiff? Why not have a calendar? Why aren’t the settings saving? I already spent the money, but it looks like despite having a revamped BAP, it might be shelved until NHL27.Form score after patch
Form score still sucks, I hate playing a decent game and getting a 50 form score and failing a challenge because of it. I don’t want to be “hockey’s chosen one” and score a goal a game as an 80 ovr rookie….. this is the biggest issue with be a pro and needs to be figured out, I want to play this game mode so bad but can’t crack the roster unless you’re scoring every GD game.
