Please explain acceleration in Be a Pro
3 huge, massive, how did you not catch this issues with acceleration in be a pro There seems to be no way to increase acceleration in game. The only way to increase acceleration is via trait points. Using trait points to increase acceleration only gets you to an 89 (if you’re lucky and have peak health), which still makes the 3rd tier of X factors like Wheels and Elite Edges completely unattainable. Acceleration seems to consistently decrease by 20-30 points every game, and there doesn’t appear to be a way to stop this. I know I’m not the first person to complain about this. I have enjoyed NHL 26 but here are some things I think would greatly improve the game: -Even with slider adjustments the goalies cover the puck way too often. Make it so the game keeps flowing and the puck isn't covered every time the goalie catches the puck. -line changing shouldn't be so difficult. The arrow will change from one door to the other constantly when you skate to the bench. Once you skate to the designated area there should be a button to press to hop out -in be a pro energy gets depleted way too quickly and effects the attributes way too much. I like the realism but tone it down a little. I have had to spend 90% of my attribute points to replenish energy instead of into the players abilities -overall the sliders don't effect the game enough. Even setting the goalie to cover the puck at 0 they will cover it all the time. Make each slider adjustment have more actual effect on the game. Madden has mastered this so you can make incremental adjustments to make the game more fun/realistic to the players preferences. A few months into my second season in Be a Pro my player got injured. Once he recovered, I never got any more challenges to move up a line. Every time I have a conversation with my agent or coach and they tell me they will be evaluating me, the only response is “Okay, goodbye.” and I don’t receive a challenge. So now I’m stuck on second line and have no challenges besides playoff check-ins. It’s been like this for 3 seasons. Changing teams don’t seem to help. Anybody have the same issue or find a fix?3rd jerseys/Winter classic/Stadium series jerseys
I did April 7th.. checked the store last night 8pm the WOC store changes every day.. havent seen Washingtons 3rd, sharks 3rd, 2026 winter classic and stadium jerseys nore 2025 winter or stadium series jerseys, no red wings or rangers 100th centennial jerseys,no colorado 3rd or ottawa 3rd jerseys, Bostons new home and away?.. soo Where in the store are they???? im looking in the " league" section in every divistion..where are they????? I play BAP almost exclusively with a little Franchise sprinkled in here and there. Anyone who plays Be a Pro probably agrees that getting points-goals and assists- is critical to your progression, and too much so. That being said, it makes it even more frustrating when it feels like the game is a bit stingy when awarding assists. I’ll make a beautiful feed to Bedard or Debrincat only to have them mishandle the biscuit or get robbed by the tender. That is acceptable, but what is frustrating is that many times the puck will go in but we get the “he put the puck into his own net” outcome and the goal goes unassisted. I’ve been a rabid hockey fan for going on fifty years and have a decent understanding of the rules, lol. It’s just frustrating when you do everything right and the game does its quirky thing and you get robbed of a precious point. It simply happens too often imo.Be a pro simple improvements
EA_Aljo Hello, I am a long time fan of the NHL video game series and the be a pro in particular has always had a special place in my heart. Seeing the changes of the be a pro mode from NHL 25 to NHL 26 has been a positive experience, however there are some factors that limit my enjoyment of the game mode that I will list here. X-factors are not fitting or balanced across archetypes. For example power forwards do not have access to the truculence x-factor, two way forwards have access to neither stick’em up or quick pick, and playmakers not having access to ankle breaker etc. The two ways that i recommend for solving this are 1: reviewing archetypes and giving each similar amounts of x-factors, with every archetype receiving access to all x-factors linked to their main strengths, for example power forward having access to body checking and puck protection x factors, grinders and two way forwards having access to all defensive x factors. Or 2: Giving all archetypes access to all x-factors but requiring different amounts of x factor points to gain access to them depending on archetype. The second issue I have with the career mode is certain attributes being hard capped at ratings lower than 99, most importantly acceleration being capped at 88, making it impossible to unlock higher levels of the wheels x-factor. I would therefore like to see a change where every attribute can be upgraded through gameplay actions that are common in regular gameplay, for speed and acceleration that could be xp each time the player controlled character makes a controlled zone entry. I would severely appreciate it if you discussed this with the team. Other than these two inconveniences I find the NHL 26 BAP gameplay enjoyable. I hope to hear from you soon. I am putting down simple realistic add on's for NHL 27 that do not require any new licensing with external corporations . - Be a pro: Be a pro has vastly improved I will give EA that, however I believe that small tweaks like more interaction with your pro off the ice like an option to have team practices and on ice drills that can benefit your players attributes and build chemistry would be beneficial to everyone. Secondly, add in the all star game, 4 nations, olympics (without formally calling it the olympics) Lastly, please make it more rewarding to be good defensively and to add to performance score without having to score goals or put up points - Franchise Mode: Please please please bring in LTIR, retiring jersey numbers, team practices, more interaction off ice, and interviews as the GM to clarify the direction of the team. THE MAIN THING IN THIS ENTIRE FORUM IS THIS, PLEASE BRING IN LIVE SEASON STARTING DATES, if the NHL season is on say January 24th then I want the option to start January 24th with the current record of that team and updated overalls and rosters to that point. IT IS INCREDIBLY BORING TO HAVE TO START IN SEPTEMBER WHEN THE SEASON IS OVER. IN FACT IT IS INFURIATING! And as I stated before, please bring in the all star game, skills competition, 4 nations, olympics (without calling it the olympics if need be) and just allow more fun things to do. Franchise Mode has improved but there is a lot of work left to do Gm Connected would be a cool add on too but I am not expecting the moon. I have an mode idea for future nhl games it s called be a pro era mode and you can start in any year in the nhl even what year you where born and drafted and this unique cause it can change the nhl how it is now very much so you can start when Gretzky played or when Sid or ovi played and I don’t need any credit or anything or money for it inlet thing I need is you use it for future nhl games
