bring back black eyes
I honestly miss when players would get black eyes after fights. It made fights feel like they actually mattered and added personality to the game. Now it just feels toned down and less immersive. Bring back the black eyes.

I also loved that if you got into another fight, you could end up with two black eyes. They stayed for the whole game, so every highlight you’d see your guy with a shiner, looking like a total goon… miss that tough guy gritty feel

I miss first person fights with stretch armstrong arms. You could see the black eyes and redness kick in in real time.
Tilt full right and punch full left, then as soon as they catch on you go full left and punch mid right - Near flawless win rate back in the day; I was nearing 3k penalty minutes in my prime hahathis guy gets it 💪🏻
