I get the thought behind it. Clearly the goal is to have people utilize the pressure system as much as possible. But do we really need it? Pressure creates itself. If my team is getting worked in my D zone and the other team is shooting and moving the puck around well I'm feeling the pressure of that myself.
I personally am not a fan of the current pressure system. I think like many of you, I prefer the play we had before this and XFs.
Stick lifts have been an issue for years.
I think stick lifts were great for NHL 25. Obviously, there's a problem with them in 26. Hopefully, it gets addressed.
Intercepting passes has historically been an issue. Even when in great position.
Can you get some video of this? We don't get many complaints about interceptions with 26 and in my experience, they work quite well.
Often times Hitting no longer makes any meaningful contact where it should. Glances right off players with no loss to momentum.
I think you need to line up your hits better. I see hitting happen too much as it is. This is another thing you're welcome to provide video on.
CPU D players with an overall that match the defensemen in my men's league.
Yes. AI players leave something to be desired. The best I can recommend is to get some human D.
Goalies diving around all over the place
I'm not gonna say goalies are perfect. However, I don't see them diving all over the place like they used to. There are of course times you get an animation that doesn't make sense though.
Goalies getting beat by the same moves or shots over and over in the same game (wouldn't a goalie know forehand backhand is coming after the 3rd time?)
It's not like an NHL goalie faces a different shot every time. Usually when people make the claim goalies get beat by the same shots, it's because your opponents are taking high percentage shots. This comes down to playing better defense. And if you use AI D you'll need to make sure there's a forward backing them up.
Thanks for all the feedback!
