Color Blind Mode/Choosing own color in EASHL Clubs

Can we get a Color Blind Mode or the Ability to change what colors we are?  We have a player in our club that needs to play as Right Wing due to his Color Blindness, so he can tell where he is on the ice compared to everyone else, but he would be a better center.

Hi there. If they go under the accessibility options, they can enable settings for color blindness.

  • He just tried this,  The problem is he is Red and Green weak and changing it messes up the ice and makes it worse.  If it would just change the player indicator on the bottom Red would have worked for him.  Is this an option?

I'm a little confused by this: "The problem is he is Red and Green weak and changing it messes up the ice and makes it worse." Can you give me a better description of what is happening? Thanks!

Unfortunately, there is no way to change the player indicators.

To reiterate he is weak to BOTH Red and Green.  We just went through this in a practice and here is what we found.

With Red weakness on, He cannot see the goal line and center ice line as they blend into the ice.  If the Goalie has any Red on, the Goalie blends into the ice and net.  But he can see his player icon and the difference between the other players and can see the blue lines

With Green weakness on, All lines and the puck were fuzzy and after 5 mins started to give him a headache.  If the Goalie has any green or white on, the goalie blends into the Ice,  But can see his player icon and difference between the other players

Thanks for the added details. I'll pass these on to the team.

Thank You.  According to him, after playing last night, the best option would be to use color filters to change only the indicators for the skaters, rather than everything on the ice.  Or be able to choose your color separate from your position
