Playing a home game as the Hawks vs Leafs. Just like last year's issue, entire stadium starts chanting "Go Leafs, Go!" Not once, but over and over. It's a Hawks HOME game.
It's bad enough EA removed the presentation, but now, this completely kills the game.
Seems like they only chant for the team losing. Had a home game again as the Caps. Played the Oilers. Winning 3-1 and the "Let's Go Oilers" chants started and continued most of the game. Unbelievable.
Unbelievable it hasn’t been fixed. We had the same issue in 25. 🤦♂️
Just shows they never listen or update, same for me as well as things like penalties slider on rules front page changes from 4 back to 3 when reloading game.
The complete lack of presentation and crowd chants wrong, is making me lean towards the hockey text sims now.. As you said, this further solidifies EA doesn't listen or update what needs updating to keep the game solid. I'll never understand their reasoning for removing presentation or this crowd chant debacle.
Presentation is the core of all sports games. It creates that immersed experience. and gets your excited to play the game. Madden has it, FC 26 has it, but not hockey. It's not like presentation was never in the game...it was and was pretty good. Your up by a goal in your home stadium and the crowd starts chanting for the other team. These little things are destroying what was once a pretty decent series.
With all the unaddressed issues that have plagued this series for years, I feel we're on the downhill of this game and eventually it will fade into history. We definitely need 2K to come back and make hockey again. Competition forces companies to do better and not be stagnant.
Not just that. But you have the crowd cheering the opposing teams goals. Clapping hands and standing. Lol
