Its a game composed of algorithims. What takes place in the game is not reality. The AI, doesnt know McDavid from Putin. They are just zeros and ones. So to expect players to perform like they do in real life. Is a fantasy. Too many variables in the game to deal with. Abilities. Ice time. Line combos. Rating (86 or 92) McDavid as an example. Team strategies. Line strategies. Period legnth, 3mins to 20 mins. Etc etc. Not reality.
