Community ManagerHey, NHL Fans. As many of you have noticed, there was an unintended slow down with passes when using icon passing. We've had to revert this part of the update while we investigate a fix.
Total shambles.
Both Sony and Microsoft have AI slop in their stores so I don't really care about what they want - It'd be nice if EA's testers took even a smidge of pride and effort with their product
How about this? Did this make sense or am I misinterpreting how icon passes are working?
Aren't teams supposed to go through a testing phase before certification is greenlit? I don't see how something like this could be overlooked
Testing typically pertains to bugs that cause the game to crash in order to pass certification. Microsoft and Sony don't care if the passes in NHL 26 are slower. They need products on their marketplace to run without crashing.

I don't use icon passing, but why am I not surprised
Is that why it appeared that there was a new update last night? I thought I was already passing on the latest version from a day it two prior but I had to hit the right thumb stick (Xbox) late last night. Just curious.
