Is Be a Pro designed to attract players or drive them to the pay to play?

I have an opinion that ea has gone totally pay as you go as a game? I have bought and played the original in Floppy disc. Yes I know many don’t realize that this game has existed for that long. They revolutionized the game in the “90’s” then they introduced be a manager. After that it was about 2014 the best Be a Pro. Now it’s be a pro but in 10 games? Why can’t we develop as a junior player still and play for a national team then get drafted as a highly touted player?
