I get your personal reasons for more accolades dished out to the devs of this franchise. But like you said. You havent been playing this game for quite a while. If you had. You would understand the reasons for negativity regarding this game. The major problem this franchise has is the total lack of transparency. When problems arise in the game, nothing is put forth regarding reasoning, or notice of correction. This forum is the link to EA. However, the moderators have no control over what is fixed or not. The community at times, feels as though they are talking to a wall, in regards to getting feedback from EA. Yeah we all know the game isnt perfect. No one i believe expects it to be. But what they do expect is consideration, regarding problems they have exposed and put forward to EA. Just to be a little clearer here regarding this franchise and the lack of regard to the game. For the past several years, sales have declined. As for the library of played games. NHL 26, sits at 191 on the list. They are pretty much on the bottom of sport franchise games. When a company loses profitability. They have two ways to go. Improve your product. Or liquidate. The one comment you made i will totally agree with you. The game outlay, regarding graphics an output has definitely gotten better. But its the flaws and problems, that hinder it being a much better game than it currently is.
