EA_Aljo how does this game get regular updates, and each one proceeds to make the game feel progressively worse and throw the idea of "competitive play" out the window? The AI are absolutely ABYSMAL when you are playing in the defensive zone, hustling from their zone to the back of my net with no stamina loss while player cost seems ONCE AGAIN amplified even worse than prior, as keeping pace with that same AI will leave me drained way before the corner... poke checking is atrocious both in accuracy and power, if I'm the slightest bit off in either I'm getting absolutely dogwalked ALL game. And the AI suddenly skating into walls and then backwards to avoid incovenient bodychecks is getting beyond old and is mentally tiring at this point, I can literally switch players, hold the body check button and with no change in movement the AI starts stutter-stepping and changes pathing to keep you "just out of range" at all times. I don't get how over the course of an update, It feels like having to relearn defensive spacing and positioning just about every time something is tweaked. Given the odd chance to actually achieve my intended defensive maneuver (body or stick check) theres always a "convenient change in trajectory" and the puck just drop or flies directly to another.
What point does contributing clips and context to the issues experienced with the game actually hold? Like, what explicitly needs to be shown, to show that the issues experienced in this game are worthy of significant changes from the ground up so it can start remotely scratching the surface of resembling the sport? My intent with the whole initial post was to hopefully contribute to adding constructive criticism that would help improve the game, yet it consistently goes in the opposite way and feels worse the more they "improve it"
