Player fatigue doesnt have to be the only source though, you could achieve the same effect if you give attributes more weight causing endurance to burn faster or not last as long, there would be more to it than 1 adjustment to keep a similar feel but, hypothetically, if attribute effect in september were say 2/10 importance and it slowly increased from there, it would explain why even "the same player" never "feels the same" after updates even though you're not adjusting fatigue, not saying this is the case but its also not as simple as "player fatigue didnt change" because it can be felt, this new seasons skating feels like you're trying to skate a slush covered street with no ice. But its hard to explain, if you're pushing a specific player up the boards into the offensive zone, depending on something not obvious to the player, stamina burn can go from half to empty in 3 steps over the blueline, whereas 99/100 other times I could drag it down behind the net and still have ¼ to ⅓ stamina left to cycle or make a play and I cant record stamina meters in instant replay🤷♂️ so its not like I can give clean examples of what "does/doesn't feel natural". Its just "odd games" where things feel totally one sided. As a player, a stick lift requires a bit of patience to obtain possession after the check, but in the last day alone, AI consistently gain possession faster not just after checking my stick, but even when I successfully do it, I'm having to wait for the player to get possession before I can leave(I can physically leave, it would just be without the puck) which is impossible without getting yours lifted 3 or 4 times. It makes net front battles insufferable on defense because the AI can shove poke and lift in a crowd with seemingly perfect accuracy which leaves my defenders hunting the puck like headless chicken while the AI either; wins the race to the puck, or lifts the stick on a defender who just touched it, made me switch to and now lost it because it stopped for a hair while I took over🤷♂️ and thats not even talking about the penalties youll take if youre wrong
