L2 glitch

Why does EA refuse to patch the L2 glitch? The game would be better off without it but EA doesn’t even recognize it. You don’t see people irl doing that so why do it in a game? Bring back NHL 14 and...

We have recognized this many, many times. As I've said, fixing it in 26 would break pivoting. The current option would be to remove the ability to pivot. Seeing as how that would probably be met with a huge amount of frustration since so many of us don't use auto backskate, we're going to have to wait for a proper fix that doesn't break pivoting. Which is a major part of Vision Control.

We all hate the LT'ing. Unfortunately, it's not the simple fix people are assuming.

Yeah, we are not talking about "new" bug/glitch, that same L2 problem was in NHL25 already and then you said like its going to be fixed next version because its bigger problem. And before NHL26 release ea said in trailers like they have worked with that L2 problem because of community feedback and it will be fixed in NHL26 so this is a big joke from EA side. Same thing are these past few game updates, adding things what people are not even asking and let gameplay be as **bleep** as it is (sticklifts, penalties, poke checkings, interceptions, slow menus etc still without updates and fixes). EA just dont care anymore and they are going to destroy this game totally. First of all these kind of things should work properly what i mentioned above and when like basic things are working then you can think like outfits, fortnite style of characters etc

Yeah…..I completely agree with you. EA is a joke, it’s really unfortunate that they’re the ones handling the game for the world’s best sport and league. They don’t care; it’s just plain laziness. And it’s completely unacceptable.
I’d genuinely like to be proven wrong, but that never happens. I had high hopes that EA would fix the L2 glitch (and a lot of other things), but they just can’t get it right. But sure, focus on the PWHL, add a female commentator(to be clear, I’ve got nothing against that) ,but you have to wonder how many people actually asked for it, was it anyone? And why aren’t serious bugs & requests being fixed? I think those things should be priority number one above everything else, fix the game first!!!!!! Then add leagues, modes, equipment, and so on..
Now they’ve basically dropped and abandoned 26, and you can guarantee we’ll be seeing the same complaints in 27. It’s disappointing
