NHL 26 1.8 Patch Notes

Charging and boarding should get nerfed. If you don't want to get pasted, don't put yourself in that spot. How often do you boarding/charging called in a real game? How often do you see it called in NHL 26? 5+ times a game. 

Stop hitting when their back is to you on the boards? I see this often too, but that's because so many people just love to smash you up against the boards. Try boardplaying instead.

Why does your account not carry an EA batch like the other staffers have?

As for the stick lift you yourself posted a clip on them which still happens and as for the poke checks yeah they work if you have the stick'em up xfactor if not you have to be in a perfect  position to knock the puck loose 

I personally stopped using Stick 'em up and am still able to poke check well. Yes, it needs a boost and this too is something the team is aware of. However, even though it's not as good as it should be, it's still very useable. It's one of my main tools for defense and I break up a ton of plays with it. There are most definitely frustrating moments where you poke multiple times and not enough separation occurs and the carrier picks it up again. Those drive me crazy. In general though, I have more success than failures with poking and that's without Stick 'em up.

I've posted many clips of charging penalties that aren't called or boarding penalties thst most of time aren't called, one thing about Ben Ross he tried to keep this series to something that resembled hockey and penalties were one of them ,now we have is arcade cartoon style hockey especially with elite truculence which is a joke 

This has been very well documented. We're all thoroughly aware of the feedback on truculence and penalties and of course want them to be more authentic. This is something I have consistently reported as a pain point for the community. Unfortunately,  this is also something else that I highly doubt will be addressed in 26. I understand there's the assumption it's an easy thing to fix. And while there's probably a band-aid solution for the short term, that really wouldn't be ideal. It's much more involved and needs to be properly handled.

Stick lift seems to work great for me. Do you have any videos of it not performing properly?

It's been recognized that there's an issue with stick lift. While there are times you can be successful with it, it should work better. The team is aware, but unfortunately, I don't see it being addressed in 26.

Poke checking requires precise timing and good positioning. It's harder than it used to be. Stik em up can bridge some of the skill gap, but you still need to be in good positon to anticipate your opponent's moves.

Can you post a video of something you felt should've been a penalty but wasn't called?

Glad I got my game done before servers gave me a L because no other CM's other than Aljo can do any update notices here...unreal! Crazy how they promised to be more interactive and they are lesser than previous years. Heck even Ben Ross at least let people know if CM's weren't around. Appreciate the update thegarden94​
