NHL 26: How to Set Up 4v4 Online versus with 8 Players?

Hi,

My question is related to the NHL 26 (PS5) online versus (casual) mode. The goal would be to set up an online match with a group of 8 friends, playing 4 vs 4 using two PS5 consoles. Each player would lock into a specific position. So, in total: 2 PS5 consoles and 8 controllers.

Does anyone know if it’s possible in NHL 26 to have 4 players on the same console and couch (co-op) and then challenge another group of 4 players on a different console in an online match? How would this work in practice through the menus?
